Alice in Chains will release their fifth studio album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, on May 28th.  They sat down with Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan to discuss the new album.

McKagan and Alice in Chains have a long history.  McKagan was born and raised in the band's hometown, Seattle.  He's performed with the band several times over the years.

The band talked about the hard work that went into the album and also discussed, "their right to exist."  They also refer to McKagan as the "seventh member of the band."  McKagan brings up the recent inclusion of the band's song Rooster in the film This is 40.
