The surviving Beastie Boys, Michael Diamond (aka Mike D) and Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock) plan on releasing a memoir in the fall of 2015.

The Beasties signed a deal with Spiegel & Grau, which is a subsidy of Random House.  The same group has released books from artists like Keith Ricards, Eric Clapton, and Pete Townshend.

According to the New York Times, the book will not be a straight memoir.  it will be more of a loosely structured oral history.

The third member of the Beastie Boys, Adam "MCA" Yauch, died in May of 2012.
