Pearl Jam played the home of the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field, on Friday night.  The show was a special one for front-man Eddie Vedder.  The singer is a life-long Cubs fan.

During the show, Cubs legend Ernie Banks took the stage to greet the crowd.  He was holding Vedder's childhood baseball glove.  Then, the band played All The Way.  Banks allegedly asked Vedder to write the song about the Cubs.

The concert will likely be remembered by fans for other reasons.  A storm stopped the show about seven songs into the band's set.  After a 2-hour delay, the band returned.  The concert did not end until 2am.
