Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane is recovering from brain surgery.  Last week, it was revealed that Dwane had a blood clot on the surface of his brain.  It sidelined the bassist and the rest of the band.

The band cancelled the rest of their US tour including a headlining gig at Bonnaroo.

But, the good news is Ted is improving.  He posted a message on the band's website saying, "Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home. -- Ted xx."  He also shared a picture of himself with shorter hair and bandage.

Jack Johnson performed in their place at Bonnaroo.  He paid homage to Mumford & Sons with a cover of their song, The Cave.  Johnson also explained the situation in a new Bonnaroo song.
