Frances Bean Cobain Lectures Lana Del Rey: Don't Romanticize Death

Posted June 23rd, 2014 @ 10:26am

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Lana Del Rey proclaimed, "I wish I was dead already."

She was discussing two of her heroes: Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse.

Lana Del Rey goes on to say that she views early death as glamorous.  When pressed by the interviewer she explains, "I don't want to have to keep doing this, but I am."  By "this" she meant "everything."

That did not sit well with Cobain's daughter.

Frances Bean Cobain took to Twitter to lecture Lana Del Rey on what early death really does.

Cobain, the daughter of the late Nirvana front-man and Courtney Love, has spent most of her life avoiding the spotlight.  But, lately she's begun to make her opinions well known.  She recently used her Twitter account to promote Gerald Way's new music.
