September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of this most important time, Bob Mayberry Hyundai will proudly donate a portion of every new vehicle sale back to childhood cancer research and awareness. Bob Mayberry Hyundai is also a proud partner of Hometown Heroes of Union County. Each year, funds are raised to support pediatric cancer research. Join everyone at Bob Mayberry Hyundai for the 16th annual Hometown Heroes Ride for the Cure on September 15 at 8AM. Fun and breakfast will be served. The volunteers and riders of Hometown Heroes will be riding from Monroe to Gettysburg, PA.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to us,” said Mike Simpson, general manager of Bob Mayberry Hyundai. “Last year’s turnout for the Hometown Heroes kickoff was outstanding. It’s amazing to see our community members get together to support such a great cause. We’re looking forward to another great turnout this year.”

Through September 30, Bob Mayberry Hyundai will also be stuffing a Santa Fe with donation items for local hospitals to support children battling serious illness every day. Bob Mayberry Hyundai is calling it Tough Stuff. Help Bob Mayberry Hyundai stuff the Santa Fe full of toys, gifts, and various supply items. All donations are appreciated.

“We’ve also added a social element to our September awareness event,” said Mariann Taylor, Internet manager at Bob Mayberry Hyundai. “We are excited to offer a $100 gift card entry to anyone who takes a picture with our Hyundai Hope on Wheels vehicle. All a person has to do is post the picture on his or her social media and tag Bob Mayberry Hyundai’s page to be entered to win.”

For every single test drive in September, Bob Mayberry Hyundai will make a donation to childhood cancer research.

Bob Mayberry Hyundai is also partnered with Hyundai Hope on Wheels, Hyundai’s national charity involved in supporting childhood cancer research all year long. Hyundai Hope on Wheels strives to keep up the good work and continue to pursue the ultimate goal of finding a cure for all children battling cancer. Hope on Wheels has contributed more than $130 million to date to childhood cancer research.
