Georgia Gas Station Bans Sale of Sam Adams Until After Super Bowl

A Georgia gas station has banned all sales of Sam Adams until after Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5.  Why? Sam Adams is part of the Boston Beer Co. and with the Atlanta Falcons taking on the New England Patriots, the owner wanted to show his support for his home team.

Viral Chhadua is the manager of the Exxon in Gainesville, Ga. and said he felt a need to do something after reading a Boston Globe article that "belittled" the Falcons and their fans.

He said he felt irritated after reading the article, so he did what he could do - stop the sale of a Boston beer.

He hasn't seen much backlash from the push and has started selling more SweetWater Brewing Company, an Atlanta-based beer.
