Italians have basically fixed the plastic straw crisis. We can all go home now.
In the US, we basically get two options for alternatives to plastic straws and they both suck (lol get it?).
1) the paper straw: gets soggy before you're halfway done with your drink. You have paper in your mouth now. Also we're wasting trees???
2) the metal straw: nothing like pressing your lips to freezing metal. Also your drink tastes like metal now.
THERE ARE ONLY PROS WITH THE PASTA STRAW:
Doesn't get soggy. You can eat it when you're done! If you don't want to eat it, it is biodegradable cuz it's pasta. If you use it in a Bloody Mary you're basically having alcoholic spaghetti. Need I continue??
