The incredibly smart people at MIT are known for occasionally doing some pretty dumb things. But then again maybe we are the dumb ones for not understanding the reasons/ science behind it all. Someone sent us this video from PIANO DROP 2007. We will admit we've never seen a piano pushed off a tall building before. The sound that it makes when the piano comes crashing to the ground is most satisfying. Take a watch and see if you agree. For those concerned that this is a waste of pianos, they offer this disclaimer: The organizers purposely seek out old, damaged, instruments that are not worth repairing. No children are being deprived of a piano. No value is lost.
