After a week of teasing, Billie Eilish has released her latest single, "My Future," along with a dreamy music video animated by Australian artist Andrew Onorato. The visuals show a forlorn anime-style Eilish wandering alone in a dark, gloomy world. However, as she makes the best of what's around her she realizes the world is her oyster, and creates beauty all around.

The lyrics reflect her powerful message of self-love. "'Cause I/ I'm in love/ With my future/ Can't wait to meet her," she sings in the chorus. "And I/ I'm in love/ But not with anybody else/ Just wanna get to know myself."

"we wrote this at the very beginning of quarantine," Eilish said in a statement about the song. "it’s a song that’s really really personal and special to me. when we wrote this song, it was exactly where my head was at - hopeful, excited and a craaaazy amount of self reflection and self growth. but recently it has also taken on a lot of new meaning in the context of what’s happening in the world now. i hope you can all find meaning in it for yourselves.”

"My Future" is the second song Eilish has released this year, following her James Bond theme "No Time To Die." Watch the music video below.
