Instant Family Movie Review

Instant Family is a wonderful film that explores the world of adoption.  It does a great job of showing the adjustments the adopting parents go through.  Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne play the parents who go from being DINKs (double income, no kids) to a family of five after agreeing to foster teen-age Lizzie and her siblings, Juan and Lita.  The movie also shows the effects of being in the foster system on the children, the biggest being learning to trust.  Lizzie particularly finds it hard to believe that this will be her forever family.  This movie strikes a perfect balance of comedy and pulling on the heartstrings.
