The Banksy Artwork That Self-Destructed Moments After Being Purchased

If you have $1.4M to spend on a piece of art at an auction, are you even upset when it self-destructs moments after you buy it? This Banksy piece was meant to mock art auctions but instead, Banksy's may have made his art that much more valuable/expensive

In one of my favorite headlines of the week, a piece of Bansky's artwork was auctioned off for $1.4 million in London. Moments after the purchase, the piece of work self-destructed...like that bitch started shredding out of the frame in the most epic burn ever.

The New York Times tweeted: Banksy’s shredded painting was meant to poke fun at the excesses of the art auction market. But it could end up sending his prices even higher.
