The kids show is introducing a same-sex couple in their new episode.
The episode, “The Last Crusade,” which already aired overseas, reportedly introduces pegasus pony Scootaloo’s guardians: Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty.These characters first made their debut in a book in 2017, but this will be their first appearance on screen. And in case you’re thinking these are just two nice aunts who care for their niece together, the show’s writer/producer, Michael Vogel, to confirm the news, tweeting, “What a cute couple!”
