Strange things are afoot in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
So, I'm watching football again on a Saturday afternoon.
While the consensus #1 team in the county is the Crimson Tide, I am wondering if somethings wrong.
It took the Tide 9 plays and almost 5 minutes to score. 4:20 to be precise.
I'm wondering if the other Division I schools are thinking: "....so you're telling me there's a chance!"
No, well maybe if you Clempson (yes I know it's spelt wrong - or is it?)
In college football this year, from what I've seen there is 'Bama..........................................................and Clempson.....and then a lot of other teams way off in the distance.
Don't get me wrong. Some of these other teams are not just good. They are VERY VERY Good:
Michigan
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Georgia
Ohio State
LSU
Heck even UCF. UCF University of Central Florida... in Orlando...near Disney - nevermind.
Now don't start thinking I'm a 'bama backer. I'm NOT. Far from that.... Florida State is my team. Yeah, tell me about it. Anytime the FSU basketball team is ranked higher than the football team - things aren't good.
I don't think anything is a fait accompli - but I don't see how anyone can come close to beating Alabama let alone beat them.
Don't empty the bank though.....
