Two parents may be stuck with a $132,000 bill after their child damaged a sculpture inside a Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The child’s mother said the incident happened during a wedding reception last month. Surveillance video shows the child hug the sculpture, then seconds later, it fell. Following the kid hugging and breaking the art work, the family received a letter from an insurance company saying they were negligent for not monitoring their children. Is that the case? Or should the community center have secured the art work to prevent it from falling over?
