New World Record For Eating Corn With A Toothpick

Congratulations to a man named David Rush who set the new World Record for eating sweet corn with a toothpick.  Mr. Rush initially set a record a year ago when he balanced a pool cue on his forehead for 1 hour, 3 minutes and 14 seconds.  The GREAT new is that he returned to the Oak Brook Library Tuesday for another world record attempt.  Naturally it had to be the one where you see who can eat the most sweet corn kernels  in 3 minutes with a toothpick.  It took Rush three attempts, but the 241 corn kernels he ate on his third attempt bested the previous record of 236. Rush ate 230 and 217, respectively, on his first two attempts.
