In Honor Of May The Fourth (Be With You) Here Is Chewbacca Speaking English

We learned about the passing of actor Peter Mayhew this week. You know him as the wookie Chewbacca from the Star Wars movie franchise. This is some behind the scenes footage of Chewbacca in Star Wars and we hear the natural audio (not the stuff where they put in Chewbacca's signature growls). This gives us a little more insight as to how the other actors were able to play off of Chewbacca's role in a more natural way. It is a little bit weird to hear Chewbacca speaking English, but it makes sense that the others wouldn't just hear grunts and growl. Rest In Peace Mr. Peter Mayhew, and thank you for your acting, your character and your life!
