We'll be the first to admit that we don't know a ton about bears. We are confused on which bears you "get big" in front of and yell, and which ones you play dead. This guy did the right thing when being approached by a bear. He locked himself in his car! Somebody filmed a bear in a parking lot approaching a guy who's cleaning out his minivan. The man is halfway inside, two doors are wide open, and he has no idea the bear is there. So they shout out a warning and he climbs inside and closes the doors just in time. (This happened last Saturday in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.)
