What is it with people and bike races this year? It started in the summer when someone stepped into the path of a Tour de France cyclist and caused a pileup? This is just like that except this guy was riding a mountain bike, and this woman must have the worst eye sight in the world. A guy at a cycling event in the Canary Islands was nearing the finish line when a woman walked into the road in front of him. He hit her, and they both hit the pavement. This crash is pretty brutal. He suffered a "moderate head injury." and she was treated at the scene, and then airlifted to a medical center. Imagine cycling 55 miles and this happens just feet from the finish line!
