This massive rock slide happened over Memorial Day weekend was videoed by boaters at the scene on the waters of Lake Powell. The dramatic rockslide happened on the Utah side of the lake (which by the way is the second largest reservoir in the country). Experts have said that the water levels have continued to plunge due to the unrelenting drought conditions and contributed to this rock slide happening. One other scary statistic is that currently the lake is around 26% full. This would put Lake Powell is at its lowest level since 1963.
