We remember the first time we saw one of those sling shot rides that popped up in a mall parking lot. At first we were intrigued by the sling shot ride, and then after watching a few people get shot hundreds of feet into the air, we thought...we'll let other people ride this sling shot ride and we will stay on the ground. It seems natural that they would tell riders that they need to secure loose items before launching, but should those items include your hair? This woman, sadly, lost her wig during the ride. The captions on the video say they look daily for her hair, but we are reminded of the old saying, if you love something...set it free. Does that saying apply to wigs?
