I saw "the Mick Jagger tweet" almost immediately after it hit thanks to the hard hitting journalism of some of my favorite people on Twitter. But seriously...this is soooo 2021. Let me explain. The Rolling Stones are in Charlotte, NC for a concert tonight but apparently last night, Mick was out at one of the oldest, "dive-iest" bars in Charlotte. (And not just that, it's called the Thirsty Beaver and it's a Charlotte landmark. It's the holdout bar, refusing to move when developers came in to build apartments. So, what you don't see behind Mick are the towering apartments. Built anyway, around the Thirsty Beaver.)
And the best part of the whole thing is that no one even noticed. Or did they? Did anyone say, Wow that guy looks a lot like Mick Jagger and then move along?
