Shawn Mendes took another step towards of rock n' roll fame when he got his first-ever tattoo and the artist wants you to know that he handled it like an absolute pro.
Toronto's Chronic Ink artist Livia Tsang took to Twitter on Monday night (June 27) to show off the intricate piece, which features a shaded guitar made of trees, a sound wave and even the famed CN tower. It only makes sense, considering the Toronto milestone is part of his stomping grounds, right? What's even more touching about the tat is the sound wave is "actually an audio of [his] parents saying I love you."
