Oh Florida, you've done it again.
A Niceville, Florida man called 911 repeatedly in what he deemed was an appropriate emergency - a dog ate his hearing aid.
He called asking how he could get his hearing aid back and was intoxicated on the phone, police say. The man called several times asking how he could get the hearing aid back, then decided he didn't need an officer to respond and would instead chain the dog in the kitchen and wait for it to pass through.
An hour later, he called back saying his friend told him not to do anything to the dog.
Unfortunately, the cops couldn't help him and was told to call the non-emergency help line should the dog ever eat it again.
