If you never believed Radiohead hit the big time before now, this will change your mind.
Radiohead now have a South American species of ant named after them.
The Smithsonian's Ant Lab discovered three brand new species of silky ants, these with a white, crystal-like layer on the females.
The two scientists who discovered them, Ana Jesovnik and Ted R. Schultz, have named one species Sericomyrmex radioheadi.
Why? To honor both Radiohead's music and the band's conservation efforts and raising climate change awareness.
Congrats, Radiohead!
