The Iowa Department of Transportation released shocking footage of the massive 70 car pileup on I-35 Monday.
The video shows cars, trucks and SUVs trying to dodge one another but causing continued chaos on the snow-ridden streets.
Unfortunately, 53-year-old Dana Easter of Independence, Missouri was killed in the crash. She was driving a bus when five vehicles collided with one another. At least five others were injured.
Throughout the entire day, Iowa State Patrol responded to 185 crashes from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., where eight people were killed and at least 10 were injured.
