"Fermentation - Community - Respect." We're all in this together so we believe that a focus on fermentation (producing a quality beer, not just another "craft" beer) is critical to growing our industry and our community. Our Community (our neighborhood, patrons, employees, and fellow breweries) deserve the best beer, the best food and the best representation and exposure possible. Highlighting the Respect that all of our communities deserve is what takes us all to the next level. We respect our fermentation, our communities history, and our partnerships with other businesses who share the same vision.

December 1st - High Branch Brewing

High Branch Brewing is a family owned and operated brewery located in the Gibson Mill in Concord, NC. High Branch opened in November of 2015, when owners TJ and Maureen Creighton decided to turn a passion for beer into a business. TJ (brewer for High Branch) discovered his love for making beer in 2009 after receiving his first home brew kit. Since then, the drive to make craft beer has been all-consuming. We’ve created a brewery/tap room space that is fun and lighthearted, while keeping the quality of the beer as top priority. High Branch produces a variety of styles, including Saisons, Sours, Hazy IPAs, Stouts, etc., something for everyone!

After sharing his idea with his wife, Anita, they began to plan out the brewery, listening to advice from other brewery owners, as well as Neil taking classes for the International Brewery and Distillery test. They both centered on Waxhaw as the place for the brewery, falling in love with the town, as well as the history.
