As CEO of Summit Coffee, Brian Helfrich has overseen the company's expansion in the past 8 years from one café to six, plus a burgeoning franchise business and a nationally distributed coffee roasting operation. In his day to day, Brian focuses on Summit's vision for growth, including talent recruitment and retention, key relationships, large scale investments, and all branding and marketing operations. Brian is a graduate of Davidson College, where he majored in Creative Writing and met his wife, Tyler. The couple now resides in Davidson with their two children, and when not working and parenting, Brian is often found running long distances at odd times of the day.
