The release of Stranger Things 3 is happening July 4th (America!) and so naturally the all out marketing campaign is upon us. So the Coca Cola people have decided to use the 80's setting of Stranger Things to throwback to one of their own products...the epic failure that was New Coke. Yes, apparently in 1985 the Coca Cola company released "New Coke" and by all accounts, it sucked. Now they've teamed up with Netflix/Stranger Things to re-release what I think we should be calling "New New Coke" or "Brand New Coke" or "Better New Coke". I personally can't wait to try it for the first time and see what all of the hate is about. In the meantime, the Internet has opinions. Enjoy!
