MTV aired their VMAs last night- yes that stands for "Video Music Awards" which are no longer even a thing like they were back in the day. But any excuse for an awards show on a Monday, right? There's a lot of talk about the VMAs today- T.Swift winning all the awards, the swearing allowed on television these days and Wilcox is still mad about Sebastian Maniscalco being the host. ("I'm not offended; it's just not funny!") But the best part was Missy Elliott's performance. She was there to receive an achievement award but the dancing, the sets, the throwbacks to the early 2000's (including a surprise performance from Alyson Stoner- her little girl dancer from those old videos) made it the highlight of the night.
