This history teacher took her students on the coolest virtual road trip

AP History teacher Cathy Cluck of Texas took an epic road trip, holding daily virtual classes for her students along the way. She called her journey the #GreatAmericanHistoryRoadTrip. She spent 15 days crisscrossing the U.S., teaching from the actual sites her students were learning about. Stops included: Gettysburg, Colonial Williamsburg, the Civil Rights Museum and even Weehawken, New Jersey, site of the Hamilton/Burr duel. She has set up a YouTube Channel to share her teaching videos with the public. And it must be noted that, although she had the blessing from her school's principal, Cathy planned, orchestrated and FUNDED the entire 2 week road trip on a teacher's salary. We need more teachers like Cathy, in this time of pandemic virtual learning and always. #payteachersmore
