The sole purpose of this blog is to gloat about my Spartans. So excited to see them back in the Final Four!
After beating Duke to secure their spot in Minneapolis, the Spartans headed back home to East Lansing. Waiting for the team at the Breslin Center at 1:00 in the morning were thousands and thousands of MSU fans.
Here's an interesting story, at least to me. Kenny Goins, the player that hit the three that ultimately gave Michigan State the victory, was a walk-on player his first year. He declined several scholarship offers to attend MSU. His parents had to take out a loan to afford his tuition. Check out the story here!
