Fake meat is BIG business. Burger King is having an incredible launch of the Impossible Whopper, McDonald's is testing out a Beyond Meat burger, and even KFC is trying to launch a plant based chicken alternative. It was only a matter of time before a pizza chain got in on the craze.
Pizza Hut is low key testing out a "Garden Specialty Pizza" with MorningStar Farm's "Incogmeato," which is a plant based sausage. Don't know that I've had the sausage, but those MorningStar fake nuggets aren't terrible.
That's not the only big news coming from The Hut this week! They are also serving the Garden Specialty pies in a new round box, which is more eco friendly!
