Watch Taylor Hawkins Final Performance With Foo Fighters

That Taylor Hawkins Smile - infectious & almost mischievous. He trades Dave Grohl the drum kit for the microphone to sing Queen's Somebody to Love, but not before announcing his love for Dave Grohl

I find myself struggling with emotions...there's so much sadness and anger and disbelief that Taylor Hawkins is gone. I find myself stumbling with the words to express the sense of tremendous and irreplaceable loss.

What I can say is that I am so lucky to have met Taylor, and to have experienced his contagious smile is a privilege. He shined a light when he walked in a room, and everyone in it could feel the warmth from it. Him grinning ear-to-ear...that's how I'll choose to remember Taylor Hawkins.

Thank you for the countless nights that allowed me to lose myself in the music, watching the magic that you and Dave brought to the stage. Thank you for filling the room with so much power and emotion that it allowed me to feel a safety, a weightlessness, for just a few hours. Thank you for one of the best nights of my life, when somehow you were in sync with the sky and when you started playing my favorite part of "My Hero," the crack of your drum caused a clap of thunder...it happened so perfectly...it was pouring rain & I fell to my knees. I'll never forget that night & it would have never happened without you.

Thank you, Taylor. You are already so missed.
