We are midway through the 2018 NFL season and in the NFC...nothing is resolved. Well, except for maybe out on the LEFT Coast.
NFC East -
I don't care how long it's been. Dallas is not in the eastern part of the United States. Crap, it's barely in the east part of Texas. I've never been able to understand how that happened. Yeah, I get the tradition after all these years - but it's something that should never have happened to begin with. That being said - what a sad, sad season for all of these teams. The Giants and 'Boys are done. Stick a fork in them. So now it comes down to Washington and Philly. Hmmmm....Yawn. Ok nevermind. Let's just give it again to Philly.
NFC North:
So da Bears are in first - along with the Vikings. I'm not sold on Trubisky quite yet. Yeah, I know he's a Carolina guy...but this isn't the NBA. I'm not sold on the Vikings either. I've a sneaky suspicion that the Pack is not quite done yet. Go Pack Go.
NFC West (of course I'm going to make you continuing reading)
Los Angeles Rams. Enough said.
NFC South:
So - the Saints are rated #1 in the entire league. Really? This isn't 2009 and these aren' the same Saints. Yeah, they looked pretty good against the Rams last week. But I'm not all in on them.
Tampa Bay - Fitzpatrick is the second coming of....well wait - Put in Jameis, YES! No, No wait....he sucks too put Fitzpatrick is better. Meh...it's too hot to play football in Tampa move along.
The Falcons are still hurting from Superbowl LI - Yeah, I know it's been a while but something still isn't right. IF anyone can resusitate a team though it's Matty Ice. Don't count them completely out of this... I like them for a wild card.
So, there was one more...oh yes. That team in Charlotte. The Panthers. Everyone is focusing on the Saints....I think that's a mistake. This offense is beginning to hit on all cylinders and there is a certain magic in the air on Sunday in the queen city.

I like the Panthers to win the South.
