Now, as a person who owns a pet and lives in a place where NOBODY picks up after their pets, this is intriguing to me...
A TIKTOKER named KALLIE (@kallieslayed) is NOT thrilled this week. She got a note from her apartment community saying all residents' dogs must get DNA-tests so the community can HOLD PET OWNERS accountable for not picking up their pooches POOP! The initiative is part of a program, called POOPRINTS and let's just say some people aren't thrilled about it.

And so, the pooches are to be swabbed to create the genetic database of dog identities. Samples are then collected from the offending waste and tests are done to find a match. If your pooch is matched... you get fined. In this case, $350 bucks.
Oh, if you don't pay up, your lease can be terminated.
The TIKTOKER, Kallie, finds this to be outrageous. Why? Well, I won't draw conclusions... but I do think this is a good idea. ID the owners, too, get that DNA so you can match the owner and the dog's DNA up to catch these poop perps! What do you think?
