Remembering Tim Conway And What A Comedy Legend He Was

We lost one of the greatest funny men yesterday as Tim Conway Passed away at the age of 85. Tim Conway, if you didn't know, was a superstar in the '70s, alongside Carol Burnett, Vicki Lawrence, and Harvey Korman, all of whom had a hard time keeping a straight face when Tim was rolling. He could pretty much crack ANYBODY up, though.(Here he is making Lyle Waggoner break during the "Nazi Interrogation" skit . . .) His classic characters on the show included Mr. Tudball and The Oldest Man. He also did a string of comedies with DON KNOTTS, including "The Apple Dumpling Gang" and its sequel, and the highly underrated murder mystery "Private Eyes". And in the '80s he reinvented himself as Dorf, a little guy in a bad toupee who starred in a series of instructional sports videos.Until recent years, Tim did a lot of TV guest appearances, plus for a whole different generation, they knew him as Barnacle Boy from Sponge Bob Squarepants.
