Watch Jon Stewart Scold Congress For Not Funding 911 First Repsonders

Jon Stewart may not have a TV show anymore, but he's still crusading for what he believes is right. You need to see what he did in Congress yesterday. We don't get political on the show because we aren't smart enough to understand politics. But this is different. This is providing for the men and women who were the first responders to the attacks of 9-11. Yesterday Jon Stewart scolded members of the House Judiciary Committee for not renewing funding for 9/11 first responders. Well to be honest, he scolded the members who bothered to show up which, sadly, wasn't that many. He said, quote, "What an incredible metaphor this room is for the entire process that getting health care and benefits for 9/11 first responders has come to. "Behind me, a filled room of 9/11 first responders and in front of me, a nearly empty Congress. Sick and dying, they brought themselves down here to speak. To no one. "Shameful. It's an embarrassment to the country, and it is a stain on this institution. And you should be ashamed of yourselves for those that aren't here, but you won't be, because accountability doesn't appear to be something that occurs in this chamber."You HAVE to listen to the whole thing. THIS is what a patriot sounds like. And it's good to see Jon STILL speaking truth to power.
