If you missed the Daytona 500 yesterday, you missed a HUGE crash at the end of the race. Ryan Newman was hospitalized following this huge collision during the last lap of the Daytona 500 yesterday. He was actually leading when Ryan Blaney contacted him from behind and spun him. His car hit the wall and flipped over, then got hit by Corey LaJoie .It was on fire when he went across the finish line ninth and when it finally came to rest Newman had to be extricated from the vehicle. Newman is in serious condition, but luckily, his injuries are NOT life-threatening. Take a look at the impact and try to imagine what it was like to drive that car. Seconds after the crash, Denny Hamlin edged out Blaney to win his third Daytona 500.
