A Skier's Jacket Saved Her From Falling Off A Ski Lift


If you've ever been skiing or up to tube of sled on a lift access hill you probably have thought about the worst thing that could happen. Falling off the chairlift is usually in the back of your mind, but it happened to one skier in New York state. A skier at New York's Bristol Mountain Resort got stuck in a chair lift, and was dangling above the ground for about two minutes. That gave time for the ski patrol to get a plan together to save the skier. The ski patrol was below with a safety tarp and she eventually slipped out of her jacket and into the tarp. The best news?
