We will admit that sometimes we tune into a sporting event just to see some crashes. It isn't ALWAYS NASCAR, but for the most part, some sports are made better when things go horribly wrong. We have a feeling the Tour de France is finally catching on to this. Last Tour de France had multiple accidents and crashes and the rating went through the roof. Let's face it, cycling is more watchable on TV when the chance of someone crashing is there. So how did they kick off stage 1 of this year's tour? With a crash, but this wasn't a rainy downhill, this was a fan who just wanted to get her sign on TV.
