There is something very special about hitting a hole in one. Even if you're not a fan of golf, or enjoy watching the PGA, you know a hole in one is incredible. When you do it at a tournament like the Waste Management Open (the tournament in Arizona this weekend) it is a whole lot different. The whole tournament is unlike anything on the PGA tour. Screaming and yelling is almost encouraged. Heckling is one of the certain things...and the 16th hole at the Waste Management is the pinnacle of all of this. It is a short hole surrounded by screaming and often intoxicated fans, goading the players to be aggressive with their shots. When it pays off for the player...pandemonium ensues.
