One of the biggest highlights from March Madness yesterday was not for some play on the basketball court...it was from the work of a couple of cheerleaders. During the game between St. Mary's and Indiana, the basketball became lodged on top of the backboard. The refs tried to use a chair and pole to dislodge the ball but that did not work. Luckily there was a couple of Indiana cheerleaders who though they could help out. The male cheerleader lifts the girl up then walks over to the ball and she gets the game going again. The call from the announcers was pretty cool, but the cheer from the crowd really seals this as one of the early highlights of March Madness!
