baseball has been looking for a way to bring in more fans, and this junior college pitcher may have found the answer: violence! Okay, maybe not. After giving up a go ahead home run, this pitcher threw his glove on the ground and decided to tackle the home run hitter. The tackle is impressive, although we are MORE impressed with the fact that the hitter still got up and touched home plate. The pitcher was ejected, and might be expelled from school as well. His coach released this statement: "We are shocked and disappointed at what happened in our game today, We do not condone this type of behavior. We have worked hard to build a program with the highest of standards. We are completely embarrassed by this incident, and we apologize to North Central Texas College and the fans of WC baseball.
