Woody knows all about pushing the wrong button, both in the literal and figurative sense, and we are thankful that Woody is not the one pushing the button for Team USA when it comes to professional sailing. You might not know that these boats are incredible machines capable of sailing at speeds over 60 miler per hour. High speeds cane mean big wrecks, even in sailing. Team USA found out the hard way last Friday during practice for the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix. This wipeout was caused by user error. The user in question was the team’s wing trimmer Victor Diaz de Leon. He said, “While operating the wing, I chose the wrong function on my control panel, which caused our boat to flip". This is why they wear helmets when sailing!
